What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device — computer, tablet, or phone — when you visit. The website can read these files on future visits to remember information about you or your preferences.
Cookies are widely used across the web. They serve practical purposes: keeping you logged in, remembering your choices, and helping website owners understand how people use their site. They do not run programmes or install software on your device.
Some cookies are placed directly by the Auctara website ("first-party cookies"). Others are placed by third-party services that appear on the site, such as analytics tools. Both types are covered by this policy.
Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies on this website, described below.
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two broad categories based on how long they remain on your device.
- Session cookies are temporary. They are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used to maintain a consistent experience during a single visit.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period after you leave the site, or until you delete them. The durations vary: analytics cookies may last up to 24 months; marketing cookies typically expire after 30 to 180 days; preference cookies may last up to 12 months.
You can view, manage, and delete cookies stored on your device at any time through your browser settings. Instructions are in the section below.
Your Cookie Preferences
You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time using the controls on this page. Changes take effect immediately and are saved to your browser. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.

Your Rights and Controls
You have the right to withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time. You can do this by using the preference controls on this page, by clearing your cookies through your browser, or by contacting us.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any data processing that took place while consent was in force.
